How to maximise street search
Street search lets you find all properties on a specific street or across multiple suburbs, apply detailed filters, and export results for further analysis.
Overview
Street search is a quick way to prospect entire streets or suburbs at once. You can select multiple suburbs, choose specific streets, and filter by property characteristics like bedrooms, bathrooms, land area, sale price, and listing status. Once you've narrowed your results, export to CSV for advanced filtering or PDF for a report-ready format.
Select suburbs
Step 1: Open street search
Go to the search bar on the homepage and click Street at the top middle of the search box.
Step 2: Choose your region and district
Select your Region, then your District.
Step 3: Select one or more suburbs
Click on the suburbs you want to search. You can select multiple suburbs at once, so there is no need to run separate searches for each one.
Choose streets
After selecting your suburbs, a window appears with two tabs: Streets and Filters.
Step 1: View available streets
The Streets tab lists all streets in your selected suburbs.
Step 2: Select specific streets or all streets
Tick the checkbox next to each street you want to include. If you want every street in your selected suburbs, click Select All instead of ticking each one individually.
Apply filters
Click the Filters tab to narrow your results by property characteristics.
Available filters include:
Bedrooms
Bathrooms
Floor area
Land area
Council Valuation (CV)
Sale date, including a custom date range
Last sale price
Listing status (properties that were listed but not sold)
Once you have selected your filters, click Apply at the bottom of the screen. Your results will update to show only matching properties.
View results
After applying filters, a table displays all matching properties on your selected streets. The table includes key data such as ownership, bedrooms, bathrooms, area, CV, and sale information.
Search by keywords
Use the keyword search field above the results table to filter properties by specific details.
You can search by owner name, building age, street name, or other property details. The table updates instantly to show only matching results.
Export as CSV
Exporting to CSV gives you access to more columns than the table view, including listing status. This lets you do advanced filtering in Excel that is not available in the on-screen table.
Click Export above or below the results table.
Select CSV.
Open the downloaded file in Excel or your preferred spreadsheet application.
From there, you can filter by columns such as listing status (active, withdrawn, sold), owner details, and more.
Export as PDF
If you have already applied your filters and are happy with the results, you can export a PDF for a report-ready format.
Click Export above or below the results table.
Select PDF.
The PDF downloads in a clean format you can insert into reports or share with clients.
❓ FAQs
Can I search multiple suburbs at once?
Yes. When selecting suburbs in street search, you can tick multiple suburbs. The search will include all streets and properties across every selected suburb.
What is the difference between the table view and CSV export?
The table view shows essential columns like ownership, bedrooms, and sale data. The CSV export includes additional columns and lets you filter by fields not available in the table, such as listing status (active, withdrawn, sold).
Is there a limit to how many properties I can export?
Yes. You can export a maximum of 400 properties per day. The limit resets after 24 hours, so focus on specific streets or apply filters to stay within it.
When should I export as PDF instead of CSV?
PDF is best when you have already filtered your results and want a clean report to include in presentations or send to clients. CSV is better for further analysis and advanced filtering in Excel.
Can I search by owner name in the results?
Yes. Use the keyword search field above the results table to filter by owner name, building age, street name, or other property details.
