CMA Collaboration
Work together on CMAs in real-time with your team members. Multiple people can work on the same CMA, making it easier for partnerships, teams, and agents working with PAs to create professional appraisals together.
How to add collaborators to your CMA
You can add collaborators from two locations in Relab:
From CMA Editor
Open your CMA in CMA Editor
Click the person icon in the top right corner
In the Collaborate on CMA popup, search or select a team member from the dropdown. If your branch has many users, type their email address directly to find them without scrolling.
Set the Permission level: Editor (can edit the CMA) or Viewer (can view only)
Optionally, add a message in the Instructions for collaborator field (up to 1000 characters)
Click + ADD
Click CLOSE when finished
From CMA Centre
Find your CMA in the CMA Centre
Click the three-dot menu on the CMA card
Select Collaborate
Search or select a team member, set the permission level, and add optional instructions
Click + ADD
Click CLOSE when finished
Email notifications
When you add someone as a collaborator, they receive an email notification. The email includes:
Who shared the CMA with them
The property address
Their permission level (Editor or Viewer)
Any instructions you added
An Open CMA link that takes them directly to the shared CMA
How real-time collaboration works
When a teammate is actively editing a shared CMA, the app shows a banner and locks the editor into view-only mode for everyone else. This prevents conflicting edits and ensures no work is lost. Once the active editor finishes, the CMA unlocks for other collaborators.
Editors have full access to edit, download, and share the CMA. Viewers can view and download but cannot make changes.
Filtering collaborative CMAs
In the CMA Centre, you can filter CMAs to view:
My CMAs — CMAs you created
Shared with me — CMAs where you've been added as a collaborator
Viewing collaborators
The number of collaborators appears on CMA cards in the CMA Centre. You'll see "1 Collaborator" or "2 Collaborators" displayed with a people icon on each collaborative CMA card.
Removing collaborators
Remove individual collaborators
Open the Collaborate on CMA popup (click the person icon in CMA Editor or select Collaborate from the three-dot menu in CMA Centre)
Find the collaborator you want to remove in the Collaborators list
Click the trash bin icon next to their name
Remove all collaborators at once
Open the Collaborate on CMA popup
Click WITHDRAW ALL in the top right of the Collaborators section
In the confirmation popup, click Yes, withdraw all
When you withdraw collaborators, they will no longer have access to the CMA.
Withdrawing your own collaboration access
If you're a collaborator on someone else's CMA and want to remove yourself:
Find the CMA in your CMA Centre
