Relab's Ownership Search & Title Preview helps you quickly verify who owns a property and review easements, covenants, and mortgages on the go. This ensures you're working with the correct legal owners and have all necessary information before ordering a title.

How to Search for Owners from the Homepage

From Relab's homepage, click on the Ownership tab in the Search Bar
Type a name or company in the search bar
A list of properties associated will appear

How to find the Property Owner when you know the address

Search for a property
In the Property Details Panel (appears on the right next to the map), click on the name next to Ownership & Title
See all the properties under this entity. Plus for businesses: shareholders and directors from New Zealand Companies Register records

How to Preview and Order Title Documents

Preview Title

Open the Property Details Panel
Click Title Preview
This will show the information found on the first page of the title, like owners, mortgages, easements, covenants

Order Titles

Select the documents you need:
- Certificate of Title with Diagram
- Mortgage Details
- Fencing Agreements
- Other available documents
Click Continue with Payment
Enter your billing information
Confirm and place your order

Your documents will be delivered via email and found in your document centre.

How much is it to order a title?
The price to order a property title is $12, including GST, for Pro members and $19.00, including GST, for free users.

How long does it take for titles to arrive once ordered?
Once you place your order, you'll receive your documents via email, and they will also be available in your document centre shortly after.

How do i find the property owners name?
To check the property owner on an address you've searched in Relab, look at the Property Details Panel on the right and cross check the name you see. If you want to find related properties by the same owner click on the owners name.
