Troubleshooting Common Issues
Map display issues
Why is the Plan layer greyed out for my view?
The plan layer is unavailable when using the boundary map view. To view the plan layer, switch to one of these map types:
- Contour map
- Satellite map
- General map
When plan data is available for your area and you're using a compatible map view, the plan layer will display automatically on the map.
How do I print or save a property map?
Fastest method: Take a screenshot Simply take a screenshot of the map and save it as an image file or print it directly. This gives you just the map you need.
Alternative: Property Summary Report You can also download our Property Summary Report, which includes an A4-sized map showing flooding and services information. Note: This downloads a full report with multiple pages, not just the map.
CMA issues
My CMA file size is too large, help!
The average CMA should be ~6MB or less. This is likely because they have uploaded high-res images into the PDF or CMA template. A free online PDF compressor will do the trick if you don’t want to use lower-res images.
How many CMAs can I save in the CMA Centre? Do they ever expire?
There is no limit on the number of CMAs you can save in the CMA Centre, and they never expire.
When I open a saved CMA, does the date update to today's date?
Yes, it does!
Is there a way to search/filter bona fide vs non-bona fide sales in CMA?
We only display bona fide sales in CMA. If you want to confirm that a sale was bona fide, you can do this on the property details panel.
Can I create a CMA for 2 Properties, Sections or Titles?
Yes! Step-by-step instructions can be found here.
Can you add two people to a CMA Template?
Yes, so long as the template to do this had been created. If it's not obvious, check with your Branch Manager or contact support@relab.co.nz.

What should I do if I want to update data on my property?
If you spot incorrect or outdated information on a property in Relab, here’s what you should do:
1. Contact Us: Email support@relab.co.nz or click the Help 👋 button, then Share Feedback - with the property address and details of the change you’re requesting.
2. Provide Evidence: If possible, include screenshots or links to support your request (e.g., updated images, official documents).
Examples of data changes we can make:
- Remove incorrect or outdated listing images or listing data - Must be supported by proof
- Update property details - Correct information like the number of bedrooms, floor area, etc.
- Remove listing or sales data - if there’s a valid privacy reason
Examples of data changes we can't make:
- Cannot remove data still on public sites - Images or data cannot be removed if still live on REINZ or realestate.co.nz (we sync our data from these sources, so it must be removed there first)
- Cannot alter official sales records - Unless there’s a proven error
