0:00 Hi, I'm Katie from Relab, and today I'm going to show you all of the awesome features that we have in our map.
0:10 In a previous video, I went through with you the map toggles at the top and the map layers down the bottom.
0:15 If you haven't seen that, I encourage you to tune in. Today, we're going to go through the buttons on the right-hand side, as well as the measurement tool, which lives down the bottom.
0:25 Let's start with the measurement tool. I recommend that you use the measurement tool on Satellite View. This helps you to conceptualize the physical characteristics of the property in a lot more detail.
0:39 To start a measurement, click on the measurement tool, click create a new measurement on the right-hand side, and then start to draw on your map.
0:47 You can draw a straight line, and then finish the measurement to give you an estimate of what that measurement is, the width of a driveway or the area of a building, deck, roof, etc.
1:05 You can then delete the measurement. uhm, or just click away to keep it present on your view. This is our legend.
1:14 You can see it's currently empty, but as I toggle on information on my map, it will change because it's dynamic.
1:22 as I add more data points. I'll I'll get a longer list in my legend. This is super helpful and I encourage you to review it on a regular basis as it will help you to get a better understanding of the detail behind the map.
1:34 Next. We've got the export map button. This is also dynamic in that it pulls in the data points that I've got toggled on on my map.
1:43 I've got two options. I can export my map with the overlays that I have currently toggled on or remove those.
1:50 Or I can export an aerial image. This is going to show me an aerial image of the property with a boundary line.
1:57 Next are navigation tools. The first is the target button, which will pull me directly back to the subject property that I was looking at if I get lost.
2:07 I've got the ability to zoom in and out using the plus or minus button on my map. This is our map pin button underneath our navigation tools.
2:19 This is particularly helpful for rural properties with large urban and large land areas. Once I click on that button and click in a boundary line, it will pull up the property detail for that specific boundary line.
2:36 Under the map pin button we have the multi-select tool. This will allow me to capture an area of properties and understand some high-level data for those properties.
2:49 I can pull in up to a hundred properties in an area and then see the total CV and land area.
2:55 But even more powerful is the ability to look at the list of those properties. I can see these in two different views, the list view or the pal view.
3:07 And I can also apply filters to this view, like this. The number of bedrooms, CV, sold date, land size, floor area, et cetera.
3:17 This is particularly helpful if you're looking at properties with unique characteristics, like, front, lake, front, et cetera. You also have the ability to export this list with the button on the bottom, right?
3:29 And that concludes the features on our map. Join me again soon as we go through the property details panel. Have an awesome day.
