What is Batch AI Commentary?

Batch AI Commentary automatically creates comparison text for your comparable properties. The AI analyses property features and generates descriptions based on your selected tone and guidance.

How to Access Batch AI Commentary

Option 1: Batch generate for multiple properties

Access Batch AI from the Select Comparables dialogue via any of these buttons:

From CMA Design Studio left sidebar

• Add/Modify Comparables (left on the footer navigation bar)
• Add/Modify Sales (under Comparable Sales section)
• Add/Modify Listings (under Comparable Listings section)

From CMA pages (if no comparables selected)

• Add Comparable Sales (on Nearby Sales page)
• Add Comparable Listings (on Nearby Listings page)

Once in the Select Comparables pop-up, click the teal Batch AI Comments button at the bottom right.

Option 2: Generate for individual properties

1. Navigate to Nearby Sales or Nearby Listings page in your CMA
2. Hover over a property and click Edit
3. Scroll down to the Recommendation field
4. Click the AI Assist button on the left side below the recommendation field

Using Batch AI Commentary

Step 1: Open Batch AI Assist

Click Batch AI Comments to open the Batch AI Assist pop-up showing configuration options (left) and your comparables (right).

Step 2: Choose Narrative Tone

Select your tone style:

• Professional - Formal and objective
• Sales-focused - Persuasive and feature-highlighting
• Analytical - Data-driven and factual

Step 3: Add Global Agent Notes (optional)

Guide the AI with specific instructions like "Focus on renovated kitchens" or "Highlight waterfront proximity." These notes apply to all properties in this batch.

Step 4: Adjust Values slider

For each property, set the Values slider to indicate how it compares to your subject:

• INFERIOR (left) - Fewer or lower-quality features
• Similar Value (centre) - Comparable property
• SUPERIOR (right) - More or better features

Step 5: Generate and apply

1. Check which properties you want commentary for
2. Click Generate for X Properties (X = number selected)
3. Review the preview text for each property
4. Click Apply Changes to add commentary to your CMA

Using AI Assist (Individual Property)

When editing a single property's commentary:

1. Click AI Assist below the Recommendation field
2. The AI Assist pop-up appears
3. Click Apply to Comparable to add commentary to the selected property

Editing Commentary

After applying, edit commentary from your CMA pages:

1. Navigate to Nearby Sales or Nearby Listings page
2. Hover over the property and click Edit
3. Modify the Recommendation field
4. Save changes

To regenerate with different settings, return to Select Comparables and repeat the process.

FAQs

Can I generate commentary for only some comparables?
Yes, uncheck properties you don't want commentary for before clicking Generate.

What if I don't like the generated text?
Adjust your settings and regenerate, or apply it and manually edit on the CMA page.

Are Global Agent Notes required?
No, they're optional. However, specific notes produce more relevant commentary.

Can I use different tones for different properties?
Not in one batch. Generate separately with different tones for different property groups.

How long does generation take?
Typically a few seconds regardless of property count.
